Get To Know Your Provider

Hi! My name is Emily.

Like you, my journey has not been easy; I am a Mom. A Wife. A Nurse Practitioner. A Sister. A Daughter. Life is hard and exhausting, especially for women.

I have experienced the dismissal from other healthcare providers and been told that there was nothing to explain my symptoms. I educated myself, found relief, healed my fertility struggle, and found balance in my mental and hormonal health.

I am a Family Nurse Practitioner licensed in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Before my degree, I started at the bottom working as a patient care tech and nursing assistant. I first received my Bachelor’s in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. I then went on to get her Master’s in Nursing Education degree from Rivier University and worked as an Adjunct Nursing Professor teaching classes like Pathopharmacology, Health Policy, Research, and capstone students.

Though I enjoyed higher education, I went on to get my Post-Master’s Nurse Practitioner Certification from Rivier University to support me in a higher clinical role, after working as a Rapid Response nurse in the ICU throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.

I am the published author of “Being the Angel of Death During a Pandemic” in the American Society of Registered Nurses Journal, as well as on KevinMD.com, where I relive my experience throughout the pandemic. This has tens of thousands of shares and resonated with people and healthcare workers alike across the country.

My background of 15 years in healthcare includes working in trauma-designated emergency departments, intensive care units, rapid response teams, pediatric primary care, and urgent cares where I saw the detrimental effects of alcohol and other substances/prescription medications. I pride myself in looking at the whole patient and I want to understand the true cause of your symptoms. I will give you a customized recommendation after your appointment to aid your journey to success on your path to optimal wellness.
